Full-Time Positions

7-12 Certified Science Educator (2024-25)

Knowledge and Skills:
evidence of strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and technological skills
● training in experiential or personalized instructional methodology is desired

Experience and Training:
three years of secondary teaching experience (preferred)
● possession of a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with subject area specialization
● possession of state licensure in subject area specialization

Director of Admissions

The Director of Admissions is responsible for managing all aspects of the student recruiting and admissions process. As the school’s first contact with families, the Director of Admissions serves in an essential public relations role and is responsible for positively projecting Calvary Christian Academy’s mission and value to prospective parents.

The Director of Admissions will work closely with the Communications Manager to lead, plan, direct and implement overall strategies to raise the school’s visibility, advance its brand, and articulate clear messaging to internal and external constituencies. The Director will oversee and actively participate in the creation, design, budget and production of regularly produced admissions-driven materials as well as plan and manage marketing events such as open houses.

The Director will serve as the school’s external spokesperson when so designated by the Head of School. The main objectives of the Director are to increase awareness of Calvary Christian Academy’s unique mission and vision in the community, retain families through exceptional client care, and increase enrollment. Specific responsibilities of the position include recruiting students, managing the student admissions process, managing the financial aid process, marketing the school at preschool events and select school fairs, and assisting with the retention of students.

Communications Manager

CCA’s Communications Manager represents the voice of Calvary Christian Academy through the creation, management, and implementation of all content. The Communications Manager creates, manages, and implements a comprehensive marketing, communications, and content strategy to successfully market and brand Calvary Christian Academy through online, social media, email, print, and digital engagement channels. Works closely with the Director of Admissions.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the marketing and communication goals of Calvary Christian Academy, as established by the CCA School Board, are met
  • Develop marketing strategies and campaigns to successfully advertise and brand Calvary Christian Academy
  • Ensure brand messaging quality and consistency
  • Establish brand guidelines to apply across all departments, activities and events at the school
  • Execute the design and production of visually creative, brand-compliant assets for all Calvary Christian Academy communications, including brochures, signage, email, web pages, newsletters, and other marketing collateral for internal and external audiences
  • Manage all aspects of the school’s print and electronic communications, ensuring the continuity of the school’s brand
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and print vendors in the production of printed and digital materials
  • Create engaging social media content to increase engagement and promote brand awareness
  • Collaborate with the Director of Admissions to achieve enrollment goals through the creation of admissions emails, etc.
  • Manage Calvary Christian Academy’s website, developing content to target perspective families and encourage them through the admissions process
  • Update and maintain Calvary Christian Academy’s Family Portal with pertinent information and resources for current families
  • Work with colleagues to finalize content for the school’s social media platforms, website, monthly newsletter, email announcements, fundraising communications, and annual publications
  • Work with colleagues to ensure that accurate and timely information is conveyed to parents and staff
  • Develop and execute communications guidelines and processes for parents and staff

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong skills in Google Workspace including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, and Google Slides
  • Evidence of strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and technological skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds when occasionally needed
Elementary Educator

  • Orton-Gillingham Educator Level (preferred).
  • Training in experiential or personalized instructional methodology is desired
  • Evidence of strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and technological skills

Experience and Training:

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree in elementary education 
  • Possession of state licensure (preferred) or ACSI certification
  • Mentoring opportunities for new Educators

Part-Time Positions

Substitute Teachers

Substitute teachers will work as needed throughout the school year. Must be able to model a strong relationship with Jesus Christ in all student, staff, and family interactions.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; classroom teaching experience is preferred but not required.
